A first guitar received as a gift at the age of five proved to have been a premonitory sign of a vocation which has grown stronger with time.
The Slav and gypsy melodies which accompanied the rhythm of Vatroslav Sabolovic 's childhood were at the source of an early love for guitar, which he went on to study and later play with several bands. At the age of 16 he built his first guitar.
Driven by the call of sculpture and jazz guitars, through the years Vatroslav Sabolovic has developped its personal building process, inspired from the italian violin making of the past centuries.
Sabolovic' guitars is today a craft industry specialised in building carved archtop guitars. Carved and calibrated in the finest european massive woods the guitars offers you more you can imagine.
